Preparing a pleading with exhibits for court filing
How to merge a pleading and dozens of exhibits into one organized, paginated PDF — ready to file.
In short: In Unifo's "court document" mode you set the pleading as the main document and add each exhibit separately. The app builds an automatic table of contents, a cover page per exhibit, and continuous page numbering — all merged into a single PDF.
Step by step
Open Unifo and choose the "court document" mode.
Add the pleading as the main document, and drag in each exhibit separately (PDF, scanned image, Word, etc.).
Arrange the exhibits in the desired order by dragging, and give each one a title (Exhibit A, Exhibit B...).
Enable the automatic table of contents and continuous page numbering across the whole document.
As needed, use the arrows (to build "sub-exhibits") or merge & split (to split large exhibits made of several exhibits together, or join them when needed).
Click "Merge" — you'll get a single, organized, paginated PDF, ready to file or send.
Tips
• The merge preserves the original content and quality — scanned exhibits stay legible.
• Page numbering is continuous across the whole document, including exhibits, as filings require.
• All processing happens on your computer only — confidential documents never go online.
